I just wanted to stop by and say that you I have been reading a lot of blogs lately and use them as references in some of the papers I am publishing and this will definitely be one of them. In the last week I have probably been on over 100 blogs and you have some of the most unique views which really impresses me. Thanks, your friendly Dr.

An interesting follow up to my post above – Forrester Research recently released a study entitled “Myths and Truths about Online Customer Reviews” that found 81% of online consumers read reviews while only 14% always trust a negative review. For a summary of some of the other findings from the study, check out this article - http://www.internetretailer.com/dailyNews.asp?id=28979

I find myself doing this type of research on people as well as products.

If I know I'm going into a meeting with someone new and they are supposed to know their stuff, you can bet I'm going to do a decent amount of research to find out if they do or not.

If they tell me their an internet marketer and I can't find anything about them...that's not a good sign.
